The Oedipus Complex is a psychoanalytic theory created by Freud, which he introduced in his book Interpretation of Dreams. The Oedipus Complex is when the son is attracted, either romantically, or sexually. Freud said that the Oedipus Complex can be identified in ages 5 to 6. Personally, I think that the complex and the actions itself are disgusting, but I can understand why it exists. Think about it, your woman is the first person you meet and is your primary caregiver for the majority of your young life. We all love our mothers, just some of us love them more than others. Love can make you do crazy things, but personally I'd gouge my eyes out.
